Potholders are a traditional pinwheel quilt block, but tilted.
Size is approximately 7 inches square.

These similar but not identical potholders each have a
traditional pinwheel block made of various blue fabrics,
tilted at an angle on a white background,
with binding and hanging loop repeating one of the fabrics.
Front and back fabrics, as well as binding and loops, are 100% cotton.
Back fabric for both is the same navy-on-white background print.
The fronts are diagonally quilted over a double layer of
Thermolam Plus (which is an an extra-dense polyester batting).
The backs are lined inside with ironing board cover material.
Edges are finished with a double-fold binding
~~ just like the binding on a full-size quilt,
with the hanging loops enclosed in the binding seam.
