The fronts of these potholders are a Jack Russell Terrier (front view and rear view) cut from 100% linen towels, fused onto a 100% cotton print, and satin-stitched. Size is approximately 7 inches square. 
over the background. Insides are a double layer of Thermolam Plus (an an extra-dense polyester batting). The unquilted backs are lined inside with ironing board cover material. All washable, of course. 
Edges are finished with a double-fold binding ~~ just like a full-size quilt ~~ with the hanging loops enclosed in the binding seam.
