The front print is basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, baseballs, tennis balls, and badminton birdies. Placemat size is approximately 11.5 inches high by 17.5 inches wide. 
Placemats are quilted in a free-motion "wood grain" pattern. Backs are a solid golden-tan fabric on which the free-motion "wood grain" quilting shows up well. Either side can be the fronts. 
Edges are finished with double-fold binding just like a bed quilt. Front and back fabrics are all 100% cotton. Batting is 100% cotton. Yes, of course they're washable.
Matching pot holders are also available.
