Front fabric is a novelty print of fish ~~ trout, salmon, and others. Placemat size is approximately 11.5 inches high by 17.5 inches wide. Potholders are approximately 7 inches square. 
All pieces are quilted in a diagonal grid pattern. Edges are finished with double-fold binding just like a bed quilt. Backs are the same solid blue fabric as the bindings. Front and back fabrics are all 100% cotton. Batting for the placemats is 100% polyester. Inside the hotpad and potholders is a double layer of Thermolam Plus (a dense but thin polyester batting) instead of regular batting, backed by a layer of ironingboard-cover material. Yes, of course they're all washable.
