Cynthia used a check for both lining and inside pockets of her navy print bag.
Mary used a contrasting fabric for her lining and
repeated her outside butterfly and bug fabric for her inside pockets
(which is how the pattern directions say to make it).

Carl's masculine tote bag uses a woodland landscape print for the outside,
a print of aspen tree trunks for the lining, and a print of bears for the pockets.

Decorator sheets (a child's sheet was used here) often have splashy motifs.
Decorator fabrics also give your tote bag a fancy texture and a larger design.
