Each fabric cover for paperback books is a cotton print quilted over canvas,
with a matching ribbon bookmark.
Example cover is shown without any book inside.
(Of course, no book is included with your cover.)

The outside fabric continues on the inside flaps of the cover.
|

The quilting design of vines and leaves is easily viewed inside on the canvas.
|
|
On the outside, the quilting design of vines and leaves adds a little sparkle
but doesn't complete with the print on the outside.
|
The inside canvas may be beige or black or white (shown left) ~~
or (not shown) grey, or even some brighter color.
I choose a canvas color to complement the outside fabric without showing through.
|
The quilting is "free motion" ---
which means that I use a darning foot (which bounces on a spring),
drop the feed dogs, and create the pattern by moving the fabric by hand
around in every direction underneath the needle.
