My cotton fabrics are largely mercerized cotton, but I also use print cloth and bleached muslin.
I use Procion MX dyes, which bond permanently with the fabric fibers.

I rarely dye a piece larger than a single yard.
Therefore, every piece differs slightly from every other piece I've ever created.
